Partners Empowering Agroecology and Computer Education (PEACE)
Welcome to PEACE — a community-based initiative founded to empower young people with digital skills and environmental awareness. We are a youth-led, mission-driven organization dedicated to shaping a generation that is informed, digitally equipped, and environmentally responsible.
Founded during the challenging period of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, PEACE began as a response to the growing digital divide and environmental degradation affecting youth in underserved communities. What started as a small group of passionate young leaders has since evolved into a vibrant youth club making real impact through ICT education and agroecology programs.

🌱 What We Do
At PEACE, we run youth-focused programs aimed at two major areas of impact:
- ICT Skills Training
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, typing, internet use)
- Coding and design workshops
- Digital safety and responsible technology use
- Access to devices for practical learning
- Agroecology & Tree Planting
- Community tree planting drives
- School greening campaigns
- Agroecology awareness and conservation education
- Partnerships with local leaders to promote sustainable practices
🛤️ Our Journey
PEACE began informally in 2020, when schools closed and many young people in our community were idle and disconnected. Recognizing the urgent need for purpose and learning, we started small ICT training sessions under tree shades, using borrowed laptops and solar-powered devices. Soon after, we added tree planting as a second mission — to care for our land as we care for our future.
Today, we continue to grow as a Junior Youth Club with ongoing programs in schools and villages. We collaborate with partners, local leaders, and parents to ensure young people not only dream big — but are equipped to act on those dreams.
